Had a situation with the heat in my home with Temps to be well below freezing. I called one of the well known companies in the area, they came out and checked my old system. Turned out that it needed to be replaced. Got the quote, and something didn't seem righet. Called Bison Heating they came out the next morning to check out the problem and Bison confirmed that it needed to be replaced. They sent the quote and what a difference. No sales gimmick. They installed the unit the next day. Would recommend them whole heartedly.

I had 2 other companies come out for 1 problem. They left work uncompleted and quoted a hefty price for unidentified work. I called Great Bison, Andrew came out in a timely manner, turned my boiler on, quoted a reasonable price for work that needed to be completed and all the while had great communication. 4/25/25 -- The furnace clicked on, then clicked off before any heat came out. A call to Great Bison and a visit from Chris later, and the recurring issue of a clogged port was once again fixed. As always, great service and a great company to deal with. 1/24/224 -- After the heating issue was fixed, hot water disappeared from the faucets. Another call to Great Bison, who, fortunately for me, also work on water heaters, Chris came out to take a look. The pilot light had gone out, and he got it working again. Very grateful to have had water in the house, but really looking forward to having hot water again, as well. Again, terrific and quick response from Great Bison. They are wonderful to deal with every single time, from first call to finishing the work. Highly recommended. 1/13/24--Heat was only coming out of two vents in the house, and the frigid wind and temperatures outside were making things very cold inside! Turns out the duct leading to the furnace was no longer connected. Chris got it fixed and once again lovely, warm heating was restored to all the vents. As usual, Great Bison was great to deal with from start to finish. 3/23/23 -- The heat went out on Friday night after hours. A very fortunate call to AC Heating & Cooling was made on Saturday. Even more fortunately, an opening was available that day. Though a part had to be ordered, a bypass fix was made, and heat restored! Got a call today that the part was here, and next thing I know, it was all fixed. From start to finish, Chris and his crew were great; knowledgeable, personable, and very fair.

Began with a heating emergency when it was 17 degrees outside - woke up and the furnace wouldn't start. Great Bison was recommended to us by Wendt's Propane. They came out within a couple of hours and assessed the problem. We had a new furnace installed less than 24 hours later. Thank you for your quick, professional and quality service. Recently, on a very cold winter morning in December we awakened to what every homeowner dreads...a non-working furnace and a chilly home. We decided to call Great Bison because we prefer to engage with our local businesses whenever possible. We were impressed with their courtesy and prompt response. Although they were not able to come immediately as they were on other service calls, they did provide an arrival time for later that afternoon. Their service representative Chris called shortly afterwards to confirm when he would arrive. When Chris arrived, he went straight to work, found the issue with our furnace (which turned out to be the igniter). Shortly, after he had left, we encountered a small hiccup as our heat was still not working correctly, We phoned Chris and he came back immediately. In re-checking everything, he discovered that the lid on an outside storage chest had blown upward and was blocking the vent. And once the lid had been closed and secured...our furnace issue was promptly resolved. We were impressed with the courtesy, friendliness and professionalism of GBHC . And if we should experience any issues with either our heating or cooling in the future, they will definitely be our -go-to.

I recently had a great installation done of a new furnace and ac unit/heat pump with Great Bison, and I've been using their services for years. Chris and Andrew have come out to service my old furnace plenty of times, one time even on short notice in an emergency situation everyone dreads during the cold winter months when you wake up with no heat. They are extremely personable, knowledgeable and attentive. They go above and beyond to make sure you understand what needs to be done, and what the best course of action would be to take for your situation. When they installed for me they were quick, efficient, and considerate and made sure to clean up and walk me through how to use my new equipment in detail. I can't recommend them enough, thank you guys!

Thank you guys, you did a great job replacing our furnace. When I called with no heat, their response was immediate. They brought us space heaters while the installation was scheduled. They stayed in communication through the process. Replacement went quicker than we expected, organized, clean, and polite. You can't ask for more. I have been a property manager for over 20 years and worked with too many contractors (including those you've seen in commercials) over the years. Trust me when I say Great Bison is the best. When it comes to my home I prefer to reach out to local help and I am so glad I did!
